This inexpensive thermometer has good accuracy but a slow response time. It cannot be left in the oven while cooking.
It appears to be nicely made with a well-sealed battery compartment. There is only an on/off and a F/C switch, both of which are recessed on the rear to prevent inadvertent activation. If the unit shuts itself off automatically, it exceeded my patience to find out how long it would take.
Although the manufacturer’s name is on the unit and the packaging, there is no warranty nor contact info given. There is also no operating manual of any kind, nor are there directions for use.
The slow response, lack of contact info and no warranty make this probe difficult to recommend, despite its low price.
