It’s time to mix things up!
A quality stand mixer is definitely an investment but there is very little that a beast like the KitchenAid Artisan Tilt-head 5-quart Stand Mixer can’t handle, especially with the countless accessories that are offered.
The KitchenAid Artisan features a 10-speed sliding control for everything from low speed blending to high speed whipping. Included attachments are a wire whisk, a dough hook, and a flat paddle.
But the true allure is the various optional accessories that attach to the mixer’s “power hub” including a meat grinder/sausage stuffer; a pasta roller and cutter; a spiralizer; a slicer/shredder; and more. There’s very little that the stand mixer can’t do, just as long as you’re willing to invest in additional attachments (and find somewhere to store them!).
If, however, you are just looking for a mixer, save some serious dough (and cabinet/counter space) by opting for a handheld mixer like the KitchenAid 7-speed hand mixer (pictured below) with beater and whisk attachments.
