The Coleman Roadtrip Grill LXE is a two-burner portable gas grill on a fold-up cart. The two 10,000 BTU burners have a unique round design. They are covered by an oval heat diffuser that evens out heat across the coated cast iron grates and sizzles drippings to flavor foods.
Additional cook surfaces are available that fit on either side, over one of the burners. There is a griddle and round stove grate for pots and pans, providing versatility away from home. You can even remove the grill lid to accommodate large pots.
Piezo electric ignition, two fold-down side shelves and integrated tool hooks on the front control panel. The whole thing folds up for cooking, or down for storage and transport.
Runs on 16.4 oz. propane canisters and a 20 lb. LP tank adaptor is available.
Coleman’s Chinese manufacturing strikes a good balance, providing decent quality for modest price points. Hence, an awful lot of people own these fold up portables. A minority of owners grip about the lightweight construction, but most are happy road tripping with their LXE.
Grill head weighs 24 pounds, 41 pounds with the stand.
