So easy to make, this yogurt sauce recipe has only a few ingredients yet adds great flavor to meat and poultry. The sauce tastes best after it rests for a while.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings: 2
Course: Sauces and Condiments
Cuisine: American, Greek, Mediterranean
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup plain yogurt (the thick Greek or strained kind is best)
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 pinches Morton Coarse Kosher Salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon dill, dried or fresh
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves or cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon honey

Method

  1. Prep. Stir together all the ingredients.
  2. Serve. You can use it immediately, but if you leave it in the fridge a few hours the flavors have a chance to mingle more.

Notes

About the salt. Remember, kosher salt is half the concentration of table salt so if you use table salt, use half as much. Click here to read more about salt and how it works.
