Char-Griller tried to hop on the pellet smoker bandwagon with this halfhearted attempt at making a mid-size product. Had they introduced this closer to 2010 at the same price, it would have been a viable entry level pellet smoker. Now it’s a relic, made by a company with notoriously poor quality.
Although it does have an old Ortech style notched dial digital controller, which is better than the ancient 3-position Lo-Med-Hi controllers that are still floating around, you can get a much better BBQ pellet smoker in the same price range these days.
